DALLAS, OCT 21 -This Sunday, October 25th, PETOBERFEST promises to be a fun-filled ‘bark in the park’ with events scheduled all day. Celebrity and designer Frank Bielec from TLC’s Trading Spaces will be signing autographs and donating his artwork including an exclusive doghouse he’ll be painting on-site during the event and to be awarded to one lucky attendee. Also meet actress Anne Lockhart from Battlestar Galatica and Lassie. Another prize will include a personal phone message from “Timmy” of the original television show,“Lassie”, actor Jon Provost.

The beneficiaries of PETOBERFEST are Star Rescue Ranch, K-9Kat2 and Treasured Friends. “Ninety five percent of donated funds for these non-profits go directly to their core causes.” Radio show host, Jack E Jett said. “These charities are also involved in helping our unemployed friends keep their family pets by providing food and health care.”

The Jack E Jett radio show will be broadcasting live between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM with interviews from celebrities, sponsors and groomers. Activities include: Dallas Police crime dog demonstrations, interactive agility course, photo opps with your pets, ‘Odd Couple’, ‘Best Pet Costume’ and ‘Best Dog Trick’ contests.

Veterinarians and groomers will be there to answer all your pet questions. Vendors will have free gifts and selling raffle tickets for all kinds of unique, fun prizes. Participants are asked to register by 12:00 Noon. The event is free and open to public. Bring your pet, come on out and have a woofing great time benefiting fabulous animal charities!

Free samples from vendors, training demos, dog agility course, pet portraits and contests all throughout the day. Proceeds benefitting Star Rescue Ranch, K-9 Kat 2 and Treasured Friends.
