Pumpkin Carving Parties
October 28, 2009
Our annual pumpkin carving to raise money for a local charity will be from October 23 until Halloween night. For $10, you get a pumpkin, a carving kit, and a free pint of Guinness, Smithwicks, Harp, Black and Tan or Half and Half. The Old Monk matches your $10. Last year we raised just over $2000 ( you carved 102 pumpkins) which was used towards playground equipment at Hope Medrano School. This year's money will go to The North Texas Food Bank. Thanks to everyone who carved, to Guinness who helped with beer and to Jake and all the Monk staff who pushed hard to make it a record year.
