Ian McFeron, a prolific songwriter whose lyrical prose and fervent work ethic has drawn comparisons to Bob Dylan and Ryan Adams, has released a steady stream of albums: Don't Look Back (2003), A Long Way To Freedom (2005), Fistfight With Father Time (2006), and Let It Ride (2007). His most recent and fifth full-length LP, Love Me Blue (2009), parallels the stormy Northwest disposition to struggles McFeron faced in his own life with rocky relationships, the passing of a dear friend, and spiritual unrest - but these themes are threaded with a silver lining. “

The lead-off track “Love Me Blue” and closing track “Good Morning (I’m Still Here)” have since been added into rotation at Sirius Satellite Radio’s The Coffee Shop, and have been licensed by Play Network, a company providing music programming to over 50,000 retail stores and restaurants worldwide.

Ian McFeron has performed with Patty Griffin, Nanci Griffith, Shawn Mullins, Amos Lee, Julia Fordham, Carbon Leaf, The Hothouse Flowers, and Jars of Clay. In live performance, Ian McFeron is joined by the Texas fiddle and harmonies of Alisa Milner and the back-beat rhythms of Mark Bateman on drums and Norman Baker on bass.
