Meadows Symphony Orchestra

The second concert of the season features Brahms’ magnificent Piano Concerto No. 2 in B-flat major with acclaimed pianist and Meadows faculty member Joaquín Achúcarro as soloist. Also on the program will be Above Light – a conversation with Toru Takemitsu, composed in 2006 by new Meadows faculty member and composer Xi Wang, and Paul Hindemith’s delightful Symphonic Metamorphoses on Themes of Weber.
