filmAsiafest: Hollywood Chinese

HOLLYWOOD CHINESE is, a captivating revelation on a little-known chapter of cinema—the Chinese in American feature films. The film was directed by award-winning, Oscar-nominated director, Arthur Dong, an Asian pioneer in the field of filmmaking. Dong, who has also earned a George Foster Peabody Award, three Sundance Film Festival awards, the Berlin Film festival’s Teddy Award and five Emmy nominations, will be an honored opening night guest.

Reservations required. $12 for Friends of the Crow Collection and students. $15 for non-members. Ticket price includes the Opening Night Gala from 9:00 PM–11:30 PM at Crow Collection of Asian Art hosted by JADE. For more information or to purchase tickets by phone, call 214-979-6438.
