, 2009
The Dallas Public Library will present a staged reading of the one-act adult romantic comedy Hopelessly Puccini, by the late Dallas playwright Steve Lovett. Admission is free.
In the words of its author, Hopelessly Puccini is a "date movie onstage" Four men share a snowed-in weekend, where past history collides with the present, and youth with age, as the men explore where they've been, where they are, and where they hope to be on the subject of love.
The play was previously staged during this year's Water Tower Theatre "Out of the Loop" Festival.
The cast, Ted Wold, Angel Velasco, Heath Billups, Stan Graner, and Shane Beeson and director LisaAnne Haram will present a question/answer talk-back after the performance.
