Founded in 1991, the orchestra, comprising some of Russia’s finest young string players, has carved a niche for itself under the creative baton of its founder and music director Misha Rachlevsky. Whether it’s the ensemble’s highly-acclaimed, award winning CDs or their mesmerizing concerts, Chamber Orchestra Kremlin’s warmth and high energy have proven to create addictive performances that stay with listeners long after the last note has been played.

The program includes Schnittke’s Suite in Ancient Style (orch. M. Rachlevsky); Respighi’s Ancient Airs and Dances; Vivaldi’s concerto for violin and orchestra in c minor, Il Sospetto; Tchaikovsky’s Serenade melancholique for violin and orchestra, Op. 26; and Tchaikovsky’s Serenade for strings providing a breathtaking finale. The highlight of the evening will be a guest appearance by Emanuel Borok, violinist and concertmaster of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra.
