Eliot Fisk
February 12, 2010
A creative innovator linked to the great romantic tradition of the past, guitarist Eliot Fisk is one of today’s most exciting and unique artists. Known worldwide for his adventurous repertoire, he belongs, as his great mentor Andrés Segovia once wrote, “at the top line of our artistic world.” Fisk has performed to dazzling critical and public acclaim in recital, as a soloist with major orchestras and in a wide variety of chamber music combinations in most of the great concert halls of the world. He was awarded The Grand Cross of Isabel la Cátolica by King Juan Carlos I of Spain in 2006. The medal is one of the highest civilian honors awarded by the government of Spain.
Free to UT Dallas Students with UT Dallas Photo ID at the venue box office the night of the event. Discounts are available to faculty, staff, alumni, retirees and students.
