Dallas Symphony Orchestra: Beethoven and Schumann
January 7, 2010
Paul Phillips, orchestra director at SMu, makes his Dallas Symphony debut conducting two favorite 19th-century symphonies, Beethoven’s Fourth and Schumann’s Fourth. The concert will also move DSO Principal violist Ellen Rose into the spotlight in a new concerto written for her by the award-winning American composer Margaret Brouwer.
