Chad Hansen is Chair Professor of Chinese Philosophy Emeritus at the University of Hong Kong. He has published over 70 scholarly articles and four books on Chinese thought focusing on theory of language and mind in China and the impact of those theories on the moral and political thought of the ancient period. His seminal works, Language and Logic in Ancient China and A Daoist Theory of Chinese Thought have been translated into Chinese.
