Christmas Parade

The 23rd Annual Christmas Parade, Saturday, December 8 at 10:00am. From Eaton Drive to Marcus High School, decorated floats will parade down Morriss Road as the Town celebrates the season with candy, music, and costumes. The parade will be broadcast on FMTV throughout the month of December. Morriss Road will be closed between Cross Timbers/1171 to Marcus High School from 8:00am to approximately 12:00pm on December 8 to accommodate the parade.

Old Settlers' Park and Recreation Center
On May 22, 2013, the City of McKinney sponsored an open Pickleball Tournament at the Old Settler's Recreation Center that turned out to be totally unorganized. The courts were not prepared ahead of time and the tournament brackets had to be completed by an outside player instead of already being completed by the sponsor. The wait time between matches was at times over two hours. My group from Denton arrived at the Tournament at 8:30 AM as instructed by the sponsor for registration.
