Santa from the Macy’s Parade
December 14, 2012
Santa travels all over the world bringing Christmas Cheer to the masses, and will make a stop in the Fort Worth Stockyards December 14 to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Macy’s Department Store is bringing their famed Thanksgiving Day Parade Santa Claus to Cowtown Coliseum, where children of all ages will have the chance to help make dreams come true for others. Letter writing stations will be scattered throughout the Coliseum, and Macy’s Department Store will donate $2 to Make-A-Wish that day for every letter written. The Make-A-Wish Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in the United States that grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy.
After Santa meets his faithful friends, he will ride with The Fort Worth Herd in the daily 4pm cattle drive, down E. Exchange Ave., wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
