Brass Knuckle Corndog Beatdown

Come eat the most corn dogs and win a prize.
First place will earn you the coveted Brass Knuckles trophy and $100 gift certificate (as if all the corn dogs you can eat wasn’t enough). Second place will receive a $50 gift certificate, while third place will leave with $25 in quarters. A tie will result in a tequila shootout (providing all the contests are over 21).
Register by 5 p.m. July 4. The fun begins at 7 p.m.

Old Settlers' Park and Recreation Center
On May 22, 2013, the City of McKinney sponsored an open Pickleball Tournament at the Old Settler's Recreation Center that turned out to be totally unorganized. The courts were not prepared ahead of time and the tournament brackets had to be completed by an outside player instead of already being completed by the sponsor. The wait time between matches was at times over two hours. My group from Denton arrived at the Tournament at 8:30 AM as instructed by the sponsor for registration.
