The University of Texas at Arlington’s free summer movie series kicks off June 7 with a screening of Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax (PG). The movies, sponsored by EXCEL Campus Activities, will begin at 9 p.m. Thursdays on the west lawn of the Maverick Activities Center, 500 W. Nedderman Drive. Bring your lawn chairs, picnic baskets and blankets. Admission is free and there will be free popcorn. Soft drinks and other snacks will be sold at the concessions stand. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
