Father’s Day Car Show
June 17, 2012
On Sunday, June 17 from 12 to 4 p.m., Town East Mall celebrates Father’s Day with a free Car Show featuring classic, antique and collector cars and trucks. The vehicles will compete for awards including Best of Show and 29 class and first-place awards. Approximately 150 cars and trucks from throughout the region are expected at the event.
There is no charge to attend the Car Show, but individuals are asked to bring canned goods or nonperishable food items to donate to Mesquite Social Services. Volunteers from the organization will be at the Car Show, accepting donations of food and money.
Along with the collection of cars and trucks, Dad and other car enthusiasts will be entertained by the antics of an Elvis impersonator. There will be fund-raising activities benefiting Mesquite Social Services, drawings for door prizes including Town East Mall Shop Etc. Gift Cards and more.
The Father’s Day Car Show will be held in the parking lot near I-635E, between Sears and Dillard’s. There is no charge for admission for spectators.
