A Walk in The Parks

Quickly becoming a tradition for music lovers and fashionistas alike, A Walk in The Parks returns to The Parks at Arlington for an evening of shopping, top jazz bands and food samplings on Thursday, May 10. A Walk in The Parks offers adults an opportunity to leisurely stroll through the shopping center and see the latest spring fashions, enjoy a glass of wine and some light refreshments – and be entertained by some of the best jazz bands in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. As an additional reward, shoppers who spend $75 or more during A Walk in The Parks will receive a $10 Shop Etc. gift card, while supplies last.

Guests check in to enjoy A Walk in The Parks at 6 p.m. at Guest Services in Center Court near New York & Company. Each adult over 21 will receive an agenda for the evening, a VIP tote bag, a wristband for complimentary wine and appetizers and a list of specials from featured stores and more.

As the evening unfolds, guests stroll through The Parks at Arlington, shopping and socializing while some of the best known jazz ensembles in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex perform. Throughout the shopping center, from Macy’s to Nordstrom Rack, more than 30 jazz musicians will perform. In Center Court, Blue ‘N Jazz will delight guests with its special renditions of jazz favorites. Other ensembles include The Dave Burris Band, Mustard Seed, Neo Classic with UTA alum Aaron Irwinsky, The Thadeus Ford Band, The Arthur Riddles Group featuring Glennda Hill and more.

Retailers will offer exclusive specials that are available only from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, May 10. Hospitality retailers, such as Bare Escentuals, Caché, Gap, Nordstrom Rack, Sephora and more, will offer guests with A Walk in The Parks wrist bands a glass of wine and exclusive one-night shopping discounts. Select eateries at The Parks at Arlington will add flavor to the evening, treating guests to free samples from their menus.
