Olga Kern
November 1, 2012
Hailed as one of her generation’s great pianists, Olga Kern began her career a decade ago with a gold-medal performance at the Eleventh Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in 2001. With her vivid stage presence, passionately confident musicianship and extraordinary technique, the striking young Russian pianist continues to captivate fans and critics alike. Olga was born into a family of musicians with direct links to Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff and began studying piano at 5. In Dallas, her recital will include breathtaking works by Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt and Schumann.
