2012 Texas Stampede Rodeo and Lee Brice

This year’s Texas Stampede is part of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association’s circuit, which means contestants will come to Dallas to compete in events such as bull riding, steer wrestling and team roping in order to qualify for December’s Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas. Country music concerts follow both nights of rodeo: Tracy Lawrence performs Nov. 9., and Lee Brice takes the stage Nov. 10. (There's also a day rodeo at noon Saturday.)

There’ll also be a free Western Heritage Festival with family-friendly activities such as a petting zoo, pony rides, stick horse races and the Christmas Stampede Western Holiday Marketplace from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. both days. Texas Stampede benefits local children’s charities, including Camp John Marc and ManeGait Therapeutic Horsemanship.

I would remove picture # 8.. It isn't flattering of the people or the food.
