Blues Bandits and BBQ

The 3rd Annual Go Oak Cliff Blues Bandits & BBQ will take place on October 27 in the heart of North Oak Cliff at the future site of the Davis Street Market development. The space will allow for plenty of room for 23 BBQ teams competing in 5 categories, a beer garden featuring the first commercially available kegs from Oak Cliff’s own Four Corners Brewery, a kids area with a bounce house, a wood fire cooking demonstration from Chef Tim Byres, and lots of live music.

Friday
• 5:00 P.M. - The Cliff Blues Band
• 6:00 P.M. - Tim Byres, Smoke Restaurant, Wood Fire Cooking Demonstration
• 7:00 P.M. - Dallas Family Band
• 8:00 P.M. - Johnny Beauford & The Jack Kerowax
• 9:00 P.M. - The Texas Theatre presents Bonnie & Clyde (movie shown onsite)

Saturday
• 12:00 P.M. - Bona Fide Blues
• 1:30 P.M. - The Roomsounds
• 2:00 P.M. - People’s Choice BBQ Tasting begins
• 2:00 P.M. - Oil & Cotton hosts children’s art project
• 2:45 P.M. - Rev K.M. Williams & Trainwreck
• 4:00 P.M. - RTB2
• 4:45 P.M. - Announce BBQ winners
• 5:15 P.M. - The Cliff Blues Band

Blues, Bandits, and BBQ is a FREE event, and all ages are welcome. You only need a $20 ticket if you plan to eat the BBQ prepared by the teams and to vote for your favorite team. There will be other (vegetarian) food available for cash purchase on site.
