Each year some 20,000 people converge on the Central Texas town of West and enjoyed a family blend of food, culture, dance and just plain Czechoslovakian fun.
Friday - $12, free for kids 12 and under when accompanied by an adult
Preview Party: Grounds Open 5:30 p.m. - 12:30 a.m.
Miss Westfest Contest: 7:00 p.m.
Saturday: $8 adults; $6 seniors, military, and kids 6-12; free for kids under 6
Downtown Parade: 10:00 a.m.
Grounds Open: 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 a.m.
Sunday: $8 adults; $6 seniors, military, and kids 6-12; free for kids under 6
Kolache 5000 Fun Run: 8:00 a.m.
Polka Mass: 10:15 a.m.
Grounds Open: 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 a.m.
Parking is $2 to $3.

Jak se mas? Westfest is great. Another great polkafest is in Ennis in May. Pevo (beer) and klobasy (sausage) abound at both.
