Spirit of the Cowboy invites you to Chestnut Square in McKinney for the Spirit of the Cowboy Festival. Our two-day event strives to honor and preserve the values and culture of the cowboy way of life.
Activities include celebrity appearances, chuck wagon circle up, campfire hoe down, live music, gunfights, stage coach rides, movies, vendors, a stick horse rodeo (Sunday only), and more.
Celebrity guests: Robert Fuller (Laramie, Wagon Train, Emergency!); Alex Cord (Grayeagle, Laramie, Stagecoach, Branded, Air Wolf); Kames Hampton (F-Troop, Teen Wolf, Teen Wolf, Too), Ken Farmer (Silverado, Friday Night Lights); Dean Smith (Olympic gold medalist, stuntman); Burton Gilliam (Blazing Saddles); Charlie LeSeure (an authority on the older B westerns); Billy O'Neal (stuntman); Michael Dante (Custer, Legend of Custer, Winterhawk); Don (Brown Jug, Red Rider); and James Stacy (Lancer).
