Starring the little bunny in the Great Green Room, this fanciful poem of goodnight wishes comes to life in an extravaganza of magic, singing, dancing and puppetry. “All the familiar characters from the book are featured in the show, with a few surprises and funny inventions,” says director Nancy Schaeffer. “It retains the gentle mood of the book, and adds an edge of sophistication which will appeal to the very young, while also charming older children, parents and grandparents too.” Due to popular demand, one of the most cherished and beloved books of all time rises from the page to the stage for the second time at DCT.
Donate books to DCT's literacy partner and neighbor, VMLC! During the run of GOODNIGHT MOON, January 25 - March 3, bring a new book for ages 4 months to 5 years to DCT, 5938 Skillman Street, and receive a FREE ticket to DCT’s summer show, "The True Story of the Three Little Pigs!" (one ticket per family).
