The Annual O’Reilly Auto Parts AutoRama is returning to the Metroplex for its 53rd consecutive year as North Texas’s largest indoor custom car, truck and motorcycle show at Dallas Market Hall beginning Friday, Feb. 15, through Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013. This year’s show will feature an exciting line up of indoor and outdoor shows and activities, including celebrity appearances, designed to entertain the entire family.
Among the never-before-seen attractions at this year’s O’Reilly Auto Parts Autorama in Dallas, will be the Tribute to the Batmobile exhibit. This exhibit will include three generations of the comic book hero’s crime fighting machines, including the “Tumbler”, which first appeared in Batman Begins starring Christian Bale. A professional photographer will be on hand to take photos of fans with their favorite Batmobile.
Enthusiasts will also enjoy The Cars of Jimmie Vaughan, which includes a ‘51 Chevy, ‘54 Ford, ‘61 Cadillac and ‘63 Riviera. Jimmie Vaughan, best known as an American blues rock guitarist and singer born in Dallas, and the older brother of the late Stevie Ray Vaughan, is an avid custom enthusiast.
Outdoor activities (weather permitting) for the 2013 Dallas Autorama include the Bigfoot Monster Truck Car Crush show and Street Bike Stunt Show, as well as a burnout contest on Saturday and Sunday. Adam Copeland, the former WWE Superstar known as Edge, and Davis Cleveland who plays Flynn on Disney’s Shake it Up, will make guest appearances during the 2013 Dallas Autorama.
