Resort chefs prepare tastings of their “must have” items paired with beverages, providing a fun-filled appetizer or after-dinner experience. The menu includes Crab Cakes paired with Raspberry Margaritas at Ama Lur, Kobe Burgers paired with Blue Moon draft at Texan Station Sports Bar & Grill, Short Ribs and Malbec “Trivento” at Old Hickory Steakhouse, and Tortilla Soup and Frozen Strawberry Margaritas at Riverwalk Café.

Time: 4:00pm – 6:00pm
Location: Throughout Gaylord Texan’s indoor atriums with stops at the resort restaurants
Ages: All ages (alcoholic beverages are only available for those 21 and above)
Cost: $15 per person, including tax and gratuities. Each “Taste of the Texan” ticket includes a 10% off coupon that can be redeemed at any of the resort’s restaurants during SummerFest 2009 (excluding alcoholic beverages).
