This new work is a combination of mixed-media pieces, with graphite pencils, wood and paper. The name ''Miracle Grow'' is borrowed from a common household and gardening product. The name also make reference to an African American hair pomade. Overall it suggests that miraculous growth is induced by the chemicals provided, without any harm. '' I chose this double entendre to evoke thought and concern about the future of generations to come,'' states Olivia. Children and preteens are reoccurring themes in her work. This exhibit is a must see for the entire family.
