North Texans are getting ready for the big freeze!
Imagine a 14,000 square foot structure, kept at 9 degrees, filled with two million pounds of hand-carved ICE! The ice will be carved into magical life-sized holiday monuments and sculptures by artisans from Harbin China.
The attraction, which will keep North Texas chillin', runs from November 16, 2006 through January 6, 2007.
Guests will be thrilled with the fantasy in ice, exciting slides, dramatic lighting and soaring music. ICE! is part of the Lone Star Christmas celebration which will feature holiday activities for the entire family. Dressed in oversized parkas, guests will pass through a Texas-themed portal leaving the last bit of sunny Texas behind them. A cowboy snowman and poinsettias, rendered in ICE!, bid them welcome and wish them well on their tour of fantasy!
