Michele Mayfield is a self-taught artist of 20 years. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications/Journalism from the University of Texas at Arlington. Michele is the Publicity Chair and member of the Woman’s Club Art Department of Fort Worth and has studied under Judy Sager at the Woman’s Art Club. Her work has been entered in Gallery Shows at Frost Bank. Michele has taught art workshops at The Altered Muse and women’s retreats. Her art is displayed at The Mercantile, Stellas, Cityview Florist and Gifts, and for two years at Feastivities. Michele has sold her framed artwork and mixed-media pieces at bazaars, conventions, and to individual buyers. She has sold quite a lot of art through these various venues. She specializes in altered art books/journals and collage pieces. Michele’s art is a three dimensional expression of faith, hope and love.
