Artes de la Rosa and their National Award Winning Arts Education Program, Artes Academy, has partnered with Tarrant County College Northwest to produce a summer Musical Theatre Camp for students age 8 to 18. Students will spend two and a half weeks with a professional director, acting coach, choreographer, music director and puppeteer. Students will study Theatre, Puppetry, Music, and Dance as they become part of the 2012 Artes de la Rosa Mainstage Season celebrating Latino Art & Culture in the production of Dora the Explorer Live On Stage! Dora's Pirate Adventure.

Dora The Explorer Musical Theatre Camp begins July 9th and continues through July 25th with performances continuing on the weekend through August 5th. Camp runs Monday through Friday 10:30 am - 5:30 pm. A single "Brush Up" rehearsal will be held Thursday July 2nd at 7:00 pm. The whole camp will be at Artes de la Rosa's home, The Rose Marine Theater in Fort Worth.

Tuition for the Musical Theatre Camp is $185 a student. There are a limited number of scholarships available.
