For the past 40 years, Mr. Hanson has been photographing the events, places, and people of Dallas - from burning buildings and neighborhood scenes, ribbon cutting ceremonies, the Beatles' press meeting in the 1960's, JFK's campaign trail, to today's debutante balls, charity events, and community happenings. His commitment to the City of Dallas and the ability to serve as its photographic witness has allowed Dallasites and future Dallasites to know about our place in history. The exhibit is located in the Hall of State at Fair Park.
