Lone Star Christmas 2012

Gaylord Texan Resort’s 9th annual Lone Star Christmas event, presented by Kodak, will offer a variety of holiday activities, live entertainment, and grand displays to celebrate the season.
This year, the resort will invite visitors inside to enjoy a delightful winter wonderland featuring:
1.5 million holiday lights
54-foot rotating Christmas tree
2 million pounds of hand-carved ice
1.5 million pounds of real Texas snow
Magical miniature train sets
Life-size gingerbread house
25-foot tall Nutcrackers
2,300 decorated wreaths
5,600 feet of garland
12,000 festive ornaments
A variety of amusing holiday entertainers will also be present and include Santa Claus, toy soldier stilt walkers, gift carrying elves, singing cowboys, and more.
