The Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo’s 117th showdown year includes 23 days of heart pounding rodeo, world class livestock, kid-friendly exhibits, live music, cowboy cuisine, the “Moo-seum Experience,” carnival / midway, interactive educational exhibits, four acres of incredible shopping and much more.
In addition to six specialty rodeos, the Show also proudly hosts the World’s Original Indoor Rodeo, sanctioned by the PRCA and WPRA, offering 30 exciting performances of professional rodeo action which runs January 24 through February 9. Cheer for local 4-H and FFA students during the Calf Scramble sponsored by Mrs Baird’s and Justin Boots or root for your favorite chuck wagon during the exciting Canadian Chuck Wagon Races presented by Lone Star Ag Credit. Choose from Dickies, XTO Energy (a subsidiary of ExxonMobil), Progressive Waste Solutions, Mobil Delvac 1, Star-Telegram or Coors Light to cheer on in three dirt-flying heats each performance. You’ll also see wild and wooly specialty rodeo entertainment featuring Whiplash, the famous cowboy monkey. Audiences love to watch this little Capuchin monkey, dressed in cowboy gear riding a Border Collie and rounding up sheep.
Dickies Day, January 22 – Wear any Dickies® apparel to receive free general admission to the Stock Show grounds.
"Stock Show Goes Pink”, January 29 – Wear your pink “duds” in honor of breast cancer survivors and the Susan G. Komen for the Cure ® Greater Fort Worth. The Show will donate 50 percent of that day’s proceeds from general admission and rodeo ticket sales to the Komen Foundation.
TCU Day, January 31! Wear any TCU apparel and receive free general admission to the Stock Show grounds. And TCU students can receive $10 rodeo tickets for TCU Day by presenting a valid TCU student ID.
Military Appreciation Day, February 4– Made possible by Denbury Resources, all active duty and retired military personnel may present their military ID for free rodeo tickets to the 2:00 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. performance.
Senior Citizens Days, Every Friday – January 18, 26, February 2 and 9, grounds admission is half price ($5) for Senior Citizens 65 and over.
General admission tickets permit access to all livestock events, educational programs, commercial exhibits and carnival/midway. Adults: $10, Children 6 – 16: $5, Children 5 & Under: free
