Heidi Lingamfelter: Grace in the Lashes and Beau Brady: Forces

Grace in the Lashes by Heidi Lingamfelter features the brutality that Christ experienced balanced with the overall purpose for his suffering. Thirty-nine prints display the flagellation in progressive order with one main image hanging in the center of these prints.

Beau Brady creates work in Forces about the essence of life and the fluidity of who we are. He uses cloth as a metaphor, as fibers of characteristics weave together to create the whole textile of our lives. Much like cloth's form is constantly shifting and changing due to internal and external forces, so are our lives, leaving graceful ripples or pressing creases.
