Description
This exhibit is from the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame, which will be sharing museum space with FWMSH.
Shocking proof that we don’t all see the same thing when looking at the same scene, and that we can’t always believe what we do see, is revealed in the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History unveils its newest ExploraZone exhibit Seeing. The exhibit, the latest installment of interactive components from San Francisco’s Exploratorium, is on display at the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame across the street. The neighboring museum is hosting the exhibit and others on its lower floor while the Museum of Science and History starts its construction on its new campus. Admission to ExploraZone and all National Cowgirl Museum exhibits is one price and free for all Museum members.

Norma Jean / Haste The Day / The Showdown / MyChildren MyBride / Children 18:3 Granted, you probably have to wear your tight jeans to gain entry to this show, but at least it's for Norma Jean. If you occasionally have the hankering for unbridled screaming set to a beat, this Atlanta quintet is your band. Basically, they're the band all the little screamo kids wish they were. Beware: the teenagers own Deep Ellum tonight. More info

The room was rather small, but packed with fun activities! Me and a friend left in awe at what our eyes can do and how fun the exhibit was in showing us how they work! I appreciate the fact that we were allowed into both museums. I don't think I would have ever visted the Cowgirl Museum otherwise. However, I recommend everyone go. Not for the artifacts, but for the sheer joy of watching yourself later in a video online riding a bucking bronco!
