Description

Cardboard sculptural designs by Art Institute instructor Karen Garrett.

Garrett, an instructor at The Art Institute of Dallas, uses the medium of cardboard to explore what it would be like if dogs and cats were like people - what you see is not always what you get. The unseen scars of living and our hidden agendas define who we are. Maybe we are supposed to learn from a puppy's joy or a curious kitten's playful quest for newness. Maybe that is their real purpose - to remind us of the goodness in Puppy Love.

A reception celebrating the exhibit will be open to the public on Thursday, October 11 from 6 -8 pm in the Pegasus Gallery. Wine and hors d'oeuvres will be provided by the Culinary students at The Art Institute of Dallas.
