Description
As they traveled, explorers often documented their journeys and published the results. This exhibition, drawn from the library’s Fine Books Collection, highlights the history of many of these explorers. Among the exhibits: McKenney & Hall’s portraits of American Indians; Juan de Torquemada’s chronicle of Mexico; and Captain James Cook’s voyages to the Pacific. In the O'Hara Exhibit Hall, 7th floor.
