I was Assaulted by Carmen upon my last visit to the Goat for letting her know that our party was leaving and that she would no longer have to "deal with us," which she stated over the mic. even though we had all tipped the band generously to sing our songs. There were people in our group that never got to sing in the 3 hours that we were there. If you were one of her "regulars" you got special attention and were placed before all others in the list, even if you just walked in the door. When I was going to tell her that we were leaving and that she could take our party out of the rotation, she got in my face cursed screamed grabbed me by the arm and shoved me out of the door while screaming at me. She does not own the bar, is not an employee of the bar, and therefore did not have the authority to 86 me from the bar. However we were leaving anyway and by that point we just wanted to leave so we left willingly. Had I not had a 4 hour drive back to Houston that night I would have called the police immediately and pressed charges having her taken to Jail in Handcuffs. My Recommendation is that you not patronize this establishment or any other show she or any of her associates put on.
