Dance Lessons

Katie Bray has been teaching the Fort Worth Shuffle at Rodeo Exchange since 1994. She has a passion for dancing and music and loves giving her time Tuesday nights for lessons.

With a great deal of PATIENCE and FUN she takes the intimidation out of learning something new. She teaches an eight week series that concentrates heavily on the beginner moves and saves the last three weeks for an intermediate wrap.

She has help from many past students including her back up instructor, Bill Smith, who has been teaching with her since 1997. They make a great team and are sometimes known for a little comic relief that helps lighten the tension of learning something new.

Katie says Tuesday night at Rodeo Exchange is like a country version of the Cheers bar. Many accomplished students continue to return even after finishing lessons just to hang out with new friends. Sometimes you are lucky enough to get one as a dance partner for lessons.
