Description

This class is for beginners and experienced students interested in the human form as a basis for artistic expression. Working from live models, students will develop their ability to see the complexity of the human form and will discover ways to translate their observations into a sculpture. Students will focus on fundamental ideas of sculpture such as form, volume, gesture, balance, weight, surface, geometry and structure. Students will learn basic properties and possibilities of working with clay and will gain an understanding of constructing armatures and firing finished works.

$175 Members ($205 Non-Members) $15 Kiln Fee.
