Description
New at the Creative Arts Center is Fabric Design. You will learn a wealth of information about fabric from weave structures to fiber qualities to textures. Explore different dyeing techniques, including direct application, tie-dye, resist, immersion dye, shibouri, scorching, transfer dye and salt effects. You will also learn to properly wash and set colors, how to paint on fabrics and special manipulating techniques, including applique, hand weaving, gluing, etc.
$165 Members ($195 Non-Members) $15 Materials Fee.
