Description

Students who attend are grouped into "bands" based on age, ability, and instrument forming a "band". The summer sessions allow our students to experience playing & performing in a "real-musicians" world. Monday through Thursday is "band-practice" where they learn up to 5 songs, (a set), to perform and record on the final day, Friday. They then use the "in-house" recording studio to "cut" a CD! For the third year, there will be a "gig" scheduled in the Fall for all the summer "bands". This gives the students the experience of performing in a professional setting that is family friendly.

These are the weeks there will be groups. (The dates represent the Mondays of each week):

June 9, 16, 23 & 30,
July 7, 14, 21, 28
August 4

The sessions are 4 hours long each day for a week, (Monday - Friday):

Session A 10:00-2:00
Session B 12:00-4:00
Session C 2:00 - 6:00

Each week costs $400. Two weeks, $750.

The A kids are asked to bring lunch along with them, except on the last day (Studio Day) when there will be Pizza from Piggy Pies.
