Description

Students create self-portraits and personal motto which are transferred to a group mural. Students learn how to draw a self portrait and create a personal motto or quote, expressing an idea, a hope or belief that reflects their views and backgrounds. After transferring their portraits to canvas, the students paint the individual portraits and mottos on a 6' x 6' portable mural. Students will be able to take home a 12x16 self portrait. This class promotes self-reflection and builds problem solving, visual expression, creativity and fine motor skills. Supply fee to instructor: $10. Instructor: Junanne Peck.
