Southern Living magazine has chosen 4133 Idlewild Drive, located in Verona Park in Fort Worth, as the site for one of its 2008 Idea Houses. (The other two are in Taylor, Mississippi and Whisper Mountain, North Carolina). Verona Park is part of Fort Worth's Idlewild development.

The Fort Worth house will be open for tours from June 14 through September 28, 2008. Tour hours are from 11 am to 5 pm, Wednesday-Saturday, and 1 to 5 pm on Sunday.

The Idea House website provides the following directions for those who would like to tour the house:

From downtown Fort Worth, travel west on I-30, and exit at University Drive. Follow the exit signs onto University Drive toward the Fort Worth Botanic Garden, traveling north. Take University Drive north 1.8 miles to White Settlement Road, and turn left, heading west. White Settlement Road will soon curve to the right and go down a small hill, at which point you’ll veer to the right onto Rockwood Park Drive. Then make the first left turn onto Idlewild Drive, crossing a redbrick bridge.

your full screen map to show the location of the Southern Living house takes one to an address on Idlewild in Frisco, Tx. ???

When you click on full screen it takes you out to the Google website and we can't control the way maps appear on that external link. I'm not sure why there is a discrepancy but this sometimes happens when you try to look at the full version. I'm sorry for the confusion but we've fixed the smaller map to reflect the correct address. Thanks!
