Papel Chicano: Works on Paper

The exhibit is on loan from the personal collection of Cheech Marin, a well known entertainer and one of the country’s top Chicano art collectors. The works in Papel Chicano represent over a dozen of the most celebrated Chicano and Chicana artists in the United States. It is an outstanding visual essay of works on paper, demonstrating the evolving perspectives and concerns of four generations of artists – several of which are from Texas, and in large part from the southwestern United States.
