I am not sure how this movie obtained PG-13 rating. My kid asked me to go see this movie and my kid told me it is PG-13 so I thought it would be okay. I was disappointed to see the story line was above the rating and shock to see incorrect rating for this type of movie. Definitely not a pg movie.

skippingcherry1, any examples of why Zohan was above a PG-13 rating? You can read the guidelines to how a PG-13 movie is rated here. Having seen and reviewed the movie for this site, I thought it fell well within those limits.

As Clay213 is suggesting, all parents should investigate whether a movie is appropriate for their children before taking them to it. I can't count the number of times (probably because it's every single time) that I've seen parents bring young kids to PG-13 or even R-rated movies. I'm one of the biggest movie fans you'll ever find, but you'll never see me bring my child to a movie that's not appropriate for them.
