Beck ‘08 - LIVE

Rating: No Rating

Length: 2 hours

Synopsis: Fathom and Mercury Radio Arts present Glenn Beck's "Beck '08" political comedy show broadcast live from the Majestic Theatre in Dallas into select movie theatres nationwide for One Night Only--Thursday, July 17 at 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT / 6 p.m. MT / Tape Delayed at 8 p.m. PT. Every year Glenn Beck performs a mini live tour throughout the United States covering various topics. This summer's "Beck '08 - LIVE" event is all comedy about politics. While the election often ends up being a big joke, Glenn's show is different--it's funny on purpose! In the tradition of George Carlin and Bill Cosby, Glenn's performance is equal parts storytelling and stand-up--a 120-minute show with Glenn's unique point of view. The first half of the show will take aim at an election season unlike no other--it's non-partisan and no-holds-barred. The second half is Glenn's "pull no punches" stump speech. If you've ever wondered what a politician might sound like if they told the truth and reflected the real values of real Americans, this is it! Hold on for a live experience that shows Glenn Beck to be more than just a "thinker," but a truly funny entertainer who says exactly what's on his mind. Limited seats available--don't miss your opportunity to see Glenn Beck--host of the fastest growing cable news show in America--in an exclusive, one night comedy event on the big screen! This program is not rated, but it should be treated as PG-13.
