Retro Quirk and Dufilho Melodies
File this under "Talented Buddies Rule." Videos for Deathray Davies' frontman, John Dufilho's solo album are in the works. Check out the first one today.
A good friend of John Dufilho's in San Antonio, Michael Karshis, sent Dufilho an early Christmas present. He surprised the Deathray Davies frontman with a video for "I'm Gonna Stay Under These Covers Today" from the just-released solo album I Remain, As Always, A Rabble Rouser From The Mountains.
"Michael's going to make a video for every song on the CD. Right now, he just sent me the second one a few days ago and it's great," says Dufilho. "It was his idea to make a CD's worth of videos- obviously I'm all for it. I think he's got a great eye and understands what I'm doing musically. He's a really talented guy."
