Rock Reunion
Bishop-Stoll gets back together to support their guitarist undergoing chemotherapy, plus a Rockers Against Hunger benefit in Fort Worth.
Bishop-Stoll will get back together to support their guitarist undergoing chemotherapy, plus a Rockers Against Hunger benefit in Fort Worth. From the band's MySpace blog:
One of the more impressive DFW bands of the early 90's was Bishop-Stoll, a 5-piece outfit that had it all: high calibre musicianship, excellent songwriting, and a lead singer who made the entire production a label-worthy crowd pleaser.
Guitarist Dave Denham recently began chemotherapy for cancer and in tribute to him, the entire band (vocalist Linda Bishop, keyboardist Rick Fulton, drummer Rick Armour and bassist/vocalist and Buddy Assistant Editor Chuck Flores) has been rehearsing for what should be some memorable reunion shows. They will kick off the Rockers Against Hunger benefit at Fort Worth's Engine Room ( 2663 NE 28th St.) on Saturday, August 26 at 12:30 pm. For more information, check out their page and listen to some of their music at www.myspace.com/bishopstoll
