Idol Records is proud to announce the signing of D/FW Hip Hop / Soul / Experimental Supergroup P.P.T. consisting of 3 of the regions most talented artists / producers, Pikahsso, Picnic and Tahiti.

The group has been together for less than a year and quickly rose to prominence when the group won the Official Dallas Mavericks playoff theme song contest with their song “Rowdy Loud and Proud”. They performed in front of 20,000 Mavs fans twice during the 2006 NBA Playoffs and appeared in every major news publication and TV news channel in the Metroplex as well as national music video and sports shows. The group also performed at SXSW and its members performed at, and were nominated for Dallas Observer, Fort Worth Weekly and Con Radio Music Awards.

Advance review of Tres Monos In Love

The debut Idol release “Tres Monos In Love” will be a special CD & DVD package consisting of 12 songs and 9 Music videos, along with a bunch of bonus footage. The CD will be released in early October. Official release date and show will be announced next week. PPT will perform in Dallas next Sat. Sept 2nd at the Gypsy Tea Room on the “Labor Of Love Tour” along with Baa’tan of Slum Village, Verbal Seed, The Ill, Brownlion and Dow Jonez.

I personally wanna say thank you to each and everyone who has supported me over all these years, with the PPT project, Starvyn, Anthill, Redrumm Recordz, The Radio Show, or whatever other endeavors. The support goes unnoticed and it really is appreciated I, Picnic and Tahiti worked real hard on this cd and putting together the songs and dvds and now by signing with Idol we can get our project to the people who want it.

What im trying to say is this couldnt be possible with out yall and the power of God and I know sometimes im a distant dude but I got a good heart just often misconstrued and I really appreciate each and everyone who shows love. Everyone to me is important I wish I could shout out the world I hate leaving people off and I know I am but best believe I really do appreciate yall.

Erv of Idol Records is a remarkable individual and I really look forward to working with him on this project and I thank him for taking a chance on a experimental hiphop group like us in a city like Dallas. And to Tahiti and Picnic I wanna thank yall for bringing me into the PPT fold I was actually the last to be in the group cause im hesistant like that but now I see I made a good choice. Tahiti is the one who thought of the PPT thing, then Picnic then I was asked and man it's real fun to be in a group or situation where there are no rules, you are allowed to be free and march to the beat of your own drums.

If I left anyone off it's not on purpose blame it on me being senile and becoming a hiphop senior citizen....

Before I close thanks to all the fans who leave me, Picnic, and Tahiti notes and fanmail we love yall for that we cant do nothing without yall and thats real.

Tahiti is a dope on the videos make no mistake about it Picnic is sick on the production please believe it
