Int’l Award Show and CD Release Announced for Area Band, Honchie
The International World Champions of Rock Music Foundation is pleased to announce the 2007 International World Champions of Rock Music winner — Honchie, from Dallas, Texas.
The IWCoRM title and trophy is given out to only one act a year and is determined during the global IWCoRM Rock Trials. Evaluated on performance skills, stage presence, and overall rockacity, Honchie's spellbinding eight-minute set clenched the Dallas quintet the title, which has previously been held by such esteemed acts as Janice’s Dependency, Shanty Town, No Cries Due To Lies and many more.
In addition to being awarded the stunning 24K gold-painted trophy, the band has earned studio time to cut a full-length album under the IWCoRM moniker. The band will also receive 1,000 copies of the CD at a greatly reduced charge and a generous 13/87% royalties deal.
