Reports the DMN:

City Council members stressed that the dollar figure, the estimated cost in 2008, isn't set in stone and that what's ultimately built and spent could be far different. The council plans to begin more detailed discussions at a planning retreat this weekend.

"For me, I need some time to really analyze this and to take a strong look at it," Mayor Bill Cecil said. "A step is for the council to meet with the city manager and start looking at alternatives. We really do need to look hard and consider all the options."
